Meet Our Team

These are the hardworking instructors that teach our students the valuable skills that make your food delicious!

Chef Tony Matarese

Chef Antonio Matarese (Chef Tony) is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and The California Culinary Academy. He started his career at The Carter Presidential Library in Atlanta. He has owned a catering company, been a house manager, and was recently the Manager of the Ashland High School Cafeteria. Chef Tony splits his time between Ashland, Providence, and Vermont.

Chef Shawn O'Leary

Chef O'Leary has been working in professional kitchens for over 40 years in almost every facet, from dishwasher to executive chef. Chef's other passions are leading and mentoring young people and passing along the knowledge he wished he had when he was a student. He cherishes the opportunity to work with young people, and introducing and mastering the technical skills required for working in a professional kitchen.

Ms. Donna Collins

Ms.Collins has been working at Keefe Tech for over twenty years. She began as a Special Education aide and, during that time, attained a Bachelor's Degree from Endicott College, majoring in Hospitality. She has worked in restaurants since her childhood. Ms Collins has experience in all facets of the hospitality, travel, and tourism industries. It brings her joy to see her students grow, gain confidence, and excel in areas they never imagined they could.
